Welcome to Tea and Trekking, where I’ll be sharing my personal experience preparing for one of the most challenging and rewarding adventures in the world – the Everest Base Camp Trek. My name is Kortny, and I’m a beginning trekker – but experienced world traveler.
As I go through my own research and preparations, I hope to give you plenty of useful information for your own journey. From a comprehensive packing list to things I find out about how to train properly, I will bring you along with me.
And once I complete my own trek, I plan to give you my lessons learned after applying my own tips.
I’ve never done any sort of adventure travel before but have somehow become obsessed with this one destination after stumbling on the Kara and Nate YouTube channel about five years ago and watching the series on their trip to Base Camp. I’ve been checking out tons of videos and blogs on the topic ever since.
My original hope was to go in 2020, but, well, you know what happened…
